They way the complemented each other last season was a big reason for Lebda's rise. He has the speed that Chelios doesn't, but Chelios is one of the top 20 defensemen of all time. He has everything else. Shot, positioning, physical play and more wisdom than Socrates (and from what I understand he's older). With the Meech-Lilja, I think you again have a good complementing chemistry and I would dare Babcock to rotate these four in and out of games when Cheli comes back as tandems. Put in Lilja meech with you need to bang and put in Cheli and Lebda against the faster skilled teams.
