Hot team, hot weather

The forecast for Dallas tomorrow calls for 83-degree weather. That means that the ice in the American Airlines Center could be choppy.

"That facility is going to be real hot," said Babcock. "The ice, in my experience, in Dallas at playoff time gets to the point that it's hard to make plays."

Bruce... I was wondering if you could take the time sometime to explain the differences between the colors of the practice jerseys. Do the Red, White, Grey (I think I saw this color on a clip) and Black colors mean something?

Different teams do it different ways. Detroit divides practice jerseys this way ... defensemen-black, forwards-2 red lines 2 white lines, PP -- red, PK -- white.
With some players doing multiple roles, you'll see stuff like Mikael Samuelsson putting a black jersey over his red one for a PP drill.
Grey jerseys are players who are on the fringe, often coming back from injury.
