Chris Osgood must be feeling fine. Goalie Daniel Larsson was sent back to Grand Rapids after spending the past week backing up Jimmy Howard. Osgood is slated to start in net Friday against Florida.

To make room for Larsson, the Griffins sent defenseman Sebastien Piche to Toledo of the ECHL.

The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday assigned goaltender Daniel Larsson to the Grand Rapids Griffins and reassigned defenseman Sebastien Piche (pee-SHAY) from the Griffins to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.
