Holland calls for suspensions
Immediately after Saturday's Game 5, Detroit general manager Ken Holland angrily confronted NHL VP Frank Brown in the hall outside of the Detroit coaches' office. Holland was heated, calling for suspensions because of the actions of Calgary players like Jamie McLennan during the game. Holland pointed out that the Red Wings organization is a good soldier for the NHL, putting on a good face to the media when the league needs solidarity. Brown handled the confrontation calmly and told Holland to wait and see what will happen. Holland responded that there had better be suspensions.
