Update From San Jose

-- Tomas Holmstrom (eye) didn't make the trip west with the team and is definitely out for Game 3. The forward will be examined by a doctor in Detroit, Monday, and he's still possible for Game 4. If given the green light, Holmstrom will fly out to meet the team in San Jose.
-- Brett Lebda (ankle) is also out for Game 3. Lebda skated before Game 1 and said that was a setback. He hasn't skated since, but will try on Tuesday in San Jose.
-- Mathieu Schneider and Henrik Zetterberg took the practice off. Everyone else skated.
-- Coach Mike Babcock tinkered with the forward lines for practice, putting Mikael Samuelsson with Pavel Datsyuk and Todd Bertuzzi with Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen. Babcock said that either Samuelsson or Bertuzzi will start Monday's game on the top line with Datsyuk and Zetterberg.
-- Babcock decline to comment on the play of Robert Lang. Lang declined interview requests.

Did Babcock say anything about what tie he might be wearing on gameday?
