Neither Tomas Holmstrom (eye) nor Brett Lebda (ankle) have practiced with the Red Wings in the past four days. Coach Mike Babcock sounded more optimistic about Holmstrom's return, noting that the fear is precautionary, that more blood will pool around his eye.
As for Lebda, Babcock said, "Lebda's a skater. So when you can't do what you're supposed to do, you're out of luck. I'm not sure how soon he's going to be back. Quincey's got to be good."
