Defenseman Brent Sopel will be back in the lineup tonight after being a healthy scratch, Wednesday. Sopel was a free-agent tryout with the Red Wings in the 2007 preseason.

Nikolai Khabibulin will start in net for the second straight game. This will be his fifth start of the season with Cristobal Huet getting three starts.
