Friday was an optional practice for both the Red Wings and Flames and both Todd Bertuzzi and Robyn Regehr practiced with their teams for the first time in a week. Bertuzzi, out with a concussion since last Thursday, passed some medical tests Friday. His status will be re-evaluated after Saturday's practice. Regehr has been out with a knee injury since last Thursday. Both players remain day-to-day and neither team sounded optimistic, Friday, about getting their player back in time for Sunday's Game 2. But at least both players are closer to returning than they were a day ago.
