Morning skates

UPDATE: Mike Babcock said that he plans to use the same lineup as he did in Game 5.

----

The Red Wings are on the ice right now for an optional morning skate. Pavel Datsyuk and Kris Draper are out there. Several regulars -- all of whom are expected to play -- aren't -- Zetterberg, Filppula, Cleary, Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall, Stuart.

The Penguins' had a full skate with everyone on the ice.

No doubt Cheli is out there. What has to be done to get his name on the cup this year, assuming of course that the Wings do take it and that Cheli doesn't play in the finals?

Chelios doesn't meet the criteria for getting his name on the Cup. The Wings could petition for it as they did with Meech last spring.

Considering that the reason he did not play enough in the regular season was "broken leg" and he is a finalist for the perseverance award because of it, I think the league will accept his name. And he did play in the playoffs, just not the finals. So that should be an easy one. And they shouldn't misspell it since it's already on the same ring one slot over.
