Coach Mike Babcock said after Tuesday's practice that both Tomas Holmstrom and Brett Lebda will likely miss Thursday's Game 1 against San Jose. Holmstrom wasn't at the optional skate. He took a stick to the eye area during overtime of Game 6 in Calgary.
Lebda was at the rink, but did not skate, Tuesday. Lebda said that his ankle (sprained in Game 5) is what is keeping him off the ice right now. He did not have to take any of the tests usually used after a concussion.
